Aramaic alphabet

Hey kiddo! Today we're going to learn about the Aramaic alphabet. Do you know what an alphabet is? It's a group of letters that we use to make words and sentences. The Aramaic alphabet is a special set of letters that were used by a group of people called the Arameans a long, long time ago.

Now, let's talk about the letters themselves. The Aramaic alphabet has 22 letters, just like the English alphabet. They look different though, like they're drawn with very straight lines. Some of the letters look kind of like the letters in the English alphabet, but some of them look totally different.

When you put the letters together, they can make lots of different words. The Aramaic language has been around for thousands of years, and it was used by people in many different places. Some famous religious texts like the Talmud, Torah, and Bible were actually written in Aramaic.

Even though the Aramaic language isn't used much anymore, it's still important for us to learn about it. People who study history or religion might need to know about the Aramaic language and the alphabet that goes with it. Pretty cool, huh?
