Ardhanarishvara

Ardhanarishvara is a very special and unique god in Hinduism. Ardhanarishvara is not one god, but actually two gods in one body - Lord Shiva and his wife, Goddess Parvati.

Imagine you have a toy that's actually two toys stuck together. Ardhanarishvara is kind of like that.

However, this isn't just two toys stuck together. The body of Ardhanarishvara is split in the middle, with one half being male (Shiva) and the other half being female (Parvati). The left side is usually the female side and the right side is the male side.

This god represents the balance between male and female, and also shows that even though we may have differences, we are still one in the same. This is an important lesson to learn and helps us all live together peacefully.

So, in summary, Ardhanarishvara is a two-in-one god, representing balance and unity between males and females.
