ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Area (geometry)

"Imagine you have a piece of land or a room in your house. The area is the space inside that piece of land or room. It is like measuring how much floor space you have to play with and run around. You can measure the area by counting how many little squares fit inside that space. The more little squares, the bigger the area. So, if you have a bigger room or more land, you have a bigger area. Area can be measured in different units like square inches, square feet or square meters."
