Argumentum ad nauseam

Argumentum ad nauseam is a type of logical argument in which someone continues to make the same point over and over again. It's like when your brother keeps asking for something until you finally give in and say yes - he's using argumentum ad nauseam! The word "nauseam" comes from Latin, meaning "to the point of nausea" or feeling very sick or annoyed. So argumentum ad nauseam literally means to argue until you make people feel sick of hearing it!
