Armored warfare is when two sides (usually two countries) fight each other using tanks, buses, and other vehicles that are armored with steel or special materials to make them strong and harder to destroy. Armored vehicles are also usually equipped with weapons like machine guns, cannons, and missiles that can be used to fight on the battlefield. Armored warfare usually happens on land, but it can also take place in the air, like when helicopters fire missiles or use machine guns against ground targets.
