Asherah

Asherah is a very old goddess who was worshipped a long, long time ago by people who believed in different things than we do now. She is often seen as the goddess of fertility, which means she was believed to help plants and animals grow and have babies. People used to make wooden figures of her and put them in special places to honor her. Nowadays, some people still talk and think about her, but most people don't worship her anymore.
