ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Asperger syndrome

Asperger Syndrome is a condition that affects how people act, think, and feel. People with Asperger Syndrome sometimes have trouble understanding social cues and relationships, and may find it hard to make friends. They may often seem very quiet and distant. People with Asperger Syndrome may have trouble talking, understanding body language, and interacting with others. These problems can make it hard for someone to fit in and understand the world around them. Some people with Asperger Syndrome may also have trouble with sensory issues, such as feeling overwhelmed by bright lights or loud noises. If a person has Asperger Syndrome, it means they have some extra challenges when it comes to understanding people, making friends, and fitting into the world.
