Assyrian calendar

The Assyrian Calendar is a calendar system used by a civilization called the Assyrians who lived a long time ago. The Assyrian Calendar has 12 months, just like the calendar we use today. Each month has 29 or 30 days. Every two years, one extra month would be added, called a leap month, to make up for the extra days in a year. This made sure that their calendar stayed on track, just like our calendar today.
