At-will employment

At-will employment means that either an employer or employee can end the employment relationship at any time for any (or no) reason. It also means that employers can make changes to the workplace or job requirements at any time. This means that an employer doesn't need a good reason to fire someone or to make a change, and an employee doesn't need a good reason to quit their job.
