Attributional bias is when us humans, often without realizing it, make assumptions about why something happened. For example, if you get a good grade on an exam, you might think it is because you are smart and worked hard, but your teacher might have made it easier than usual. Or if you get a bad grade, you might think you are not smart, when the test might have been harder than usual. Attributional bias basically means we assume that what happened was because of something about us and not other outside factors.
