ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Audio feedback

Audio feedback is a type of sound that goes through a speakers and microphone at the same time. When sound from a microphone goes into the speakers, the sound from the speakers goes back into the microphone which then causes an annoying sound to come out of the speakers. This usually happens when you have the microphone and speakers too close together. To avoid this, it is important to keep the microphone and speakers as far away from each other as possible.
