Aufbau principle

The Aufbau Principle is a rule that helps us figure out how atoms are arranged. When we look at atoms, they have a lot of small parts inside them, like electrons and protons. The Aufbau Principle says that when atoms come together, the electrons fill up the lowest energy levels first before any electrons can go into higher energy levels. This helps us understand how atoms are arranged and why they act in certain ways.
