Authoritarian socialism

Authoritarian socialism is a type of government where the people in charge make decisions for the whole country. They decide things like what sort of laws people must follow and what services will be provided by the government. This type of government is usually very strict and doesn't give citizens many freedoms. People usually don't have a say in what the government does, and their rights are limited. Countries that use authoritarian socialism may have laws that make it difficult for people to have their own businesses, practice their religion or speak up against the government.
