Authoritarianism

Authoritarianism is a type of government where one person or group has a lot of power, and tells everyone else what to do. This means that the leaders have the power to make decisions on behalf of everyone else and have others follow their rules without having to get permission from anyone else. This type of government often does not allow citizens to express their opinions or have a say in how the country is run.
