Automated dispensing cabinet

An automated dispensing cabinet is like a big, fancy medicine cabinet that can give out the right amount of medicine to people in a hospital. Imagine a regular medicine cabinet at home. When you need medicine, you open the cabinet, try to find the right medicine, and take the right amount. But sometimes, you might take too much or forget which medicine to take.

In a hospital, there are a lot of patients who need different kinds of medicine. So, the hospital uses an automated dispensing cabinet to make things easier and safer. Instead of a regular cabinet, the automated dispensing cabinet has special drawers with different kinds of medicine inside. When a caregiver needs to give medicine to a patient, they use a computer to select the patient's name and the medicine they need.

Then, the automated dispensing cabinet opens the drawer that has the medicine they need. But, the drawer won't give out all of the medicine. It only lets out the right amount that the patient needs. This way, no one can accidentally take too much medicine. The caregiver then brings the medicine to the patient and makes sure they take it at the right time. This helps keep patients safe and healthy.
