So, you like music, right? And have you ever seen those cool machines that play music all by themselves, without needing someone to actually play them? They're called automatic musical instruments, or AMIs for short.
Well, there are some people who really, really like AMIs. They love collecting them, talking about them, and learning everything they can about them. These people all belong to a group called the Automatic Musical Instruments Collector's Association, or AMICA for short.
It's kind of like being in a club with other people who like the same things you do. Members of AMICA get together to show off their awesome AMIs, learn from each other, and even help each other fix up their machines when they don't work quite right. They also have a magazine that they send out to members, full of news, tips, and stories about AMIs.
Basically, the Automatic Musical Instruments Collector's Association is a place where people who love automatic musical instruments can get together and share their passion for them. It's pretty cool!
