Axial compressor

An axial compressor is like a machine that helps planes and other things that fly to get moving. It is made up of many blades that spin around very fast, sort of like a fan that you might have in your room.

When air comes into the compressor, the blades spin around and push the air so that it gets squeezed and pushed closer together. This is called compression.

As the air gets compressed, it gets stronger and more powerful. This helps the plane or other machine to move forward and go faster.
