Axis war crimes in Italy

During a world war called World War II, two sides, the Axis and Allies, fought to try to win. The Axis side was made up of countries such as Italy, Germany, and Japan and the Allies were countries like the United States, Britain, and France. During this war, the Axis countries committed many terrible crimes against people which are now known as Axis war crimes in Italy. These crimes included murder, torture, and the wanton destruction of homes and businesses. Many innocent people were killed and we still remember these terrible wrongs today.
