Baby boomers

Baby boomers are a group of people who were born after World War II between the years 1946 and 1964. They got their name because during this time there was a huge "boom" in the number of babies born. There were so many babies that it was like a big explosion of new babies.

Baby boomers grew up during a time when things were changing very quickly. They watched TV shows about space travel, heard rock n' roll music for the first time, and saw the first video games. They were also part of a population as they were born during a time when the United States was seeing a lot of economic growth and prosperity.

As baby boomers got older, they started to have a big impact on society. They went to school, got jobs, started families, and helped change the world. They were part of many major events including the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam War, and the rise of feminism.

Today, baby boomers are mostly retired, but they still have a big impact on the world. They are a large voting block and many politicians try to appeal to them. They also have a lot of wealth, so they are able to influence the economy and make decisions about how money is spent.

Overall, baby boomers were a really big group of people born after the war who saw a lot of changes in the world and made a big impact on society.
