Barbara Hepworth

Barbara Hepworth was a very important artist from a long time ago who used her hands and special things to make beautiful things that we can look at and appreciate. She lived in a place called England and she loved being outside and looking at nature. She made sculptures which are like 3D pictures you can touch and feel, sometimes from big blocks of rock or metal, and sometimes from things that were already around her. She liked to make her sculptures smooth and round so that they felt nice to touch and looked nice from all angles. People really liked her sculptures and some of them are very big and can be seen in important places all over the world. Even though she is not with us anymore, we can still learn so much from her work and remember how talented she was!
