Barnstar

A "barnstar" is like a special sticker that people give each other on a website called Wikipedia. It's called a "barnstar" because it looks like a little star that might be painted on a barn.

People give out barnstars as a way to say "thank you" or to show that they think someone did a really good job. For example, if somebody spends a lot of time researching and writing an article on Wikipedia, other people might think they did a great job and give them a barnstar as a way to say "good job!"

Barnstars are just for fun and they don't really mean anything super important. But it can feel nice to get one and it's a way to let people know that you appreciate their hard work.
