Bauhaus

Bauhaus is a fancy word for a group of people who really like to make stuff look cool and also work well. They started in Germany a long, long time ago, when your grandparents were not even born. These people wanted to make things look pretty, but also work really well for people to use. They made things like chairs, buildings, and even colors for paint!

They thought that even very simple things, like a chair or a table, could be really special if they were made with a lot of care and attention to detail. They also thought that art and design should not be only for rich people, but for everyone to enjoy and use every day. And so they came up with some really interesting ideas and styles that people still like today.

So remember - Bauhaus is all about making things pretty, but also useful and for everyone to enjoy.
