Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a beehive or a honeycomb? It looks like a bunch of little rooms all stacked together, right? Well, a beehive tomb is kind of like that!
A long, long time ago, when people died, they would build tombs to bury them in. These tombs were often made out of big stones or bricks, and they would have a sort of room inside where they would lay the person's body.
But some people wanted their tombs to be special and unique. And so they made what we call beehive tombs! These tombs were built in a round or dome-like shape, and they looked a lot like a beehive.
The idea was that the tomb would stand out and be different from all the other tombs in the area. And also, people believed that a special shape like this would somehow help the person who was buried there to have a good afterlife.
So that's what a beehive tomb is, kiddo – it's a special kind of tomb that looks like a beehive!
