Bend knot

A bend knot is like tying two ropes together. Imagine you have two different kinds of candy (yum!). You want to tie them together really tight so you can carry them around. First, you take one piece of candy and tie a knot in it near the end. Then, you take the other piece of candy and tie a knot in it near the end as well. Now, you put the knotted ends of the candy together and tie them in another knot. This is called a bend knot. Now you can carry both pieces of candy around as one big bundle! In the same way, when you tie two ropes together using a bend knot, you can use them like they are one big long rope. Cool, huh?
