Benefactor (law)

A benefactor is someone who is kind and gives things to others. In law, a benefactor can be someone who gives money or property to another person through their will or trust after they pass away. This means that they want to help someone even after they are no longer alive. The person who receives this gift is called a beneficiary. So, a benefactor is someone who wants to be really nice and helpful, even if they are not around anymore, and the beneficiary is the lucky person who gets that help.
