Benford's law

Benford's law says that some numbers that appear in everyday life are more common than other numbers. For example, if you think of any list or set of numbers (like the prices of things you bought or the pages of a book), they will often start with the number "1" more often than any other number. That's because a lot of numbers (like prices and page numbers) usually start with a number between 1 and 9. That's Benford's law.
