Bengal tiger

A Bengal tiger is a big cat that comes from a place called India. They have bright orange fur with black stripes on it, just like a zebra. They are very strong and can weigh as much as 600 pounds! That's like having 6 grown-up people all in one tiger.

Bengal tigers are a lot like other kinds of cats you might know, like your pet cat at home. They like to sleep a lot and hunt for food. But because they are so big and strong, they need to eat more than just a can of cat food. They like to eat things like deer, wild pigs, and even cows!

Bengal tigers used to be very common in India, but now there are not as many of them. This is because people have been cutting down the forests where they live and hunting them for their fur and body parts. This is very bad for the tigers and we need to help protect them so they can stay safe and happy in the wild.
