Bhandara (community kitchen)

A bhandara is a community kitchen in India where people share meals together. It's a place where people get together to share a meal and talk with each other. Everyone is welcome to come and eat the meal, which is usually free. People who organize the bhandara usually volunteer their time to make food for the meal, and donations are often used to buy the ingredients. When the meal is ready, everyone sits down together and shares the food, offering it to each other. Eating together and sharing the meal is a way of bringing people together and building community.
