Big Three television networks

Okay kiddo, so there are three big companies that make TV shows and put them on the air for everyone to watch. These three companies are called the “Big Three” TV networks. They are ABC, NBC, and CBS.

Just like how you might have favorite toys or friends, some grown-ups have favorite TV shows that they like to watch. The Big Three make lots of TV shows, so there’s a good chance that grown-ups you know have favorites on one of these networks.

The Big Three have been around for a long time, even before you were born! They started way back in the olden days when TVs were first invented. People used to watch TV shows on big boxy TVs that had screens that were much smaller than the ones we have today.
