Biochemicals

Biochemicals are like the building blocks of everything alive! It's like a big, big Lego set where every brick is a little chemical that makes up living things. These chemicals are things like proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids, and they all have different jobs.

Proteins are like the construction workers of the Lego set, they build things up and make them strong. They are made up of lots of little parts called amino acids, which are like the different colors and shapes of the Lego bricks.

Carbohydrates are like the fuel that keeps everything going. They hold a lot of energy that our bodies can use to do things like run or play.

Lipids are like the walls that keep everything safe inside. They help keep cells together and protect them from harm.

All of these chemicals work together to keep things in balance and keep us healthy. They help us do things like breathe and digest our food, and they help our bodies grow and heal when we get hurt. Scientists study these chemicals to learn more about how they work and how we can use them to help people who are sick.
