Metabolomics

Metabolomics is like a chemistry test on your body. It looks at the chemicals inside your body, called metabolites, to help doctors figure out how your body is working. These metabolites can be made by your body, or come from the food you eat. By looking at the metabolites, doctors can tell if something is wrong with your body, or if a treatment is working. Metabolomics is like a fingerprint for your body, because everyone has a different mix of metabolites.
