ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bioconservatism

Bioconservatism is the belief that the Earth's natural environment should be protected, so that living organisms can be maintained in their existing state. It is like a form of environmentalism that looks out for all plants and animals in a certain area, no matter how big or small. We can protect the natural environment by reducing pollution, protecting endangered species, and setting up areas like national parks that are free from development. This helps all living creatures, both big and small, to thrive in their own habitats.
