Techno-progressivism

Techno-progressivism is a type of political philosophy which combines the ideas of progressivism (making progress and bringing about positive change for society or individuals) with the use of technology. Techno-progressives believe that using different types of technology, such as computers, smartphones, the internet, or robots, is a great way to make progress towards bettering society, helping people, and making life easier. For example, techno-progressives might support the use of new technology to make health care more accessible, or to help reduce poverty in certain areas. Techno-progressives also support the use of technology to help protect the environment and promote sustainability.
