High modernism

High modernism is an art movement that took place in the early 20th century. It included a lot of modern art, with abstract ideas and shapes. Its artworks were different from traditional art (paintings, sculptures, etc.) because they were more like puzzles. Instead of an easy to understand painting, high modernism artworks were often made up of different shapes and colors that made you think and work to figure out what they were depicting.
