Personality is the way we explain how people act and why they do the things they do. It is a mix of how we think, how we act, and the decisions we make. It is thought that the biological basis of personality is based on our genetics and our development which occurs inside and outside of the womb. Our genetics are responsible for the traits that are passed down, such as the color of our eyes and hair, our height, and even some of our personality traits. Our development outside of the womb is responsible for things we learn as we grow, and becomes part of our personality.
