Bioplastics

Bioplastics are a type of plastic that are made from natural materials, such as corn starch or sugarcane. It's like making a cake, but instead of using flour and sugar, we use plants.

After the plants have been turned into a plastic-like substance, they can be used to make things like cups, bags, and even clothing. Just like regular plastic, these bioplastics can be molded into different shapes and sizes.

One of the big benefits of bioplastics is that they are biodegradable, which means they can break down into natural materials like water and carbon dioxide.Think of it like when you eat a piece of fruit - it eventually goes away and turns into something else.

In contrast, regular plastic can take hundreds of years to break down, which can lead to a lot of pollution. Bioplastics are a good choice for the environment because they can be recycled or break down quickly, and we can grow more plants to make more bioplastics whenever we need them.
