Biosphere reserve

A biosphere reserve is a special place set aside by different countries around the world to protect and conserve the environment. In these biosphere reserves, the natural habitat and plants and animals that live in it are carefully monitored and protected so that they will continue to exist for many years to come. People living in these areas work together to try their best to make sure that the environment is kept safe and healthy.
