Black powder rocket motor

A black powder rocket motor is a special type of rocket engine that uses a substance called black powder to create a powerful explosion. Black powder is made up of three ingredients: potassium nitrate, charcoal, and sulfur. When these ingredients are mixed together and ignited, they create a lot of heat, gas, and pressure very quickly.

The rocket motor is made up of a tube called the motor casing, which is filled with black powder. At the bottom of the motor casing is an igniter, which is a small device that creates a spark to start the black powder burning. When the igniter is triggered, the black powder starts burning and produces a lot of hot gas and pressure. This hot gas shoots out of the bottom of the motor and propels the rocket upward.

The size and shape of the motor casing, as well as the amount of black powder inside, can be changed to create different types of rockets with different amounts of thrust and flight characteristics. It's important to always use caution when working with black powder rocket motors, as they can be very dangerous if handled improperly.
