Bladder tank

There is a thing called a bladder tank. It's kind of like a big balloon that sits in a box. The box has a pipe that goes into it and a pipe that comes out of it. When water goes into the bladder tank through the pipe, it fills up the big balloon inside the box. The balloon is called a bladder because it kind of looks like a bladder in your body.

When the water goes in, it pushes the air in the box down so there's less air in there than there was before. When you turn on a faucet or a shower, the water in the bladder tank comes out. Since the balloon is made of rubber, it can push the water out really strongly. It's like when you blow up a balloon and then let it go - it lets the air out really fast and flies around the room.

When all the water in the bladder tank is gone, the air pressure in the box goes back to normal. Then, when you turn on a faucet or a shower again, the water will come out of the pipe in your house instead of the bladder tank.
