Fuel tank

A fuel tank is like a big container that holds fuel, like gasoline or diesel. It is like a water bottle but it doesn't have a cap on it. Cars and trucks have fuel tanks because they need fuel to move. The fuel is put into the tank by a gas pump at a gas station. The tank also has a tube connected to it, called a fuel line, which helps move the fuel from the tank to the engine. When the vehicle is moving, the fuel is used up by the engine and the level of fuel in the tank goes down. When the fuel level is too low, the driver needs to refill the tank at a gas station. It's important to always make sure the tank has enough fuel before going on a long trip so that the vehicle doesn't run out of fuel in the middle of the road.
