Bnei Menashe

Okay, so Bnei Menashe is a group of people who live in India, but they believe that they are descendants of a group of Jewish people who lived a long, long time ago in a place called Israel. They say that many years ago, one of their ancestors was a man named Menashe, who was one of the sons of a very famous guy in the Bible named Joseph. Now, the Bnei Menashe people have their own traditions and customs that are very similar to Jewish traditions, like eating kosher food and celebrating the Sabbath. In recent years, many people from the Bnei Menashe community have moved to Israel to live and be part of the Jewish community there.
