Body odour

Okay kiddo, so you know how our bodies have sweat glands that make sweat when we get hot or do exercise, right? Well, sometimes the bacteria that live on our skin can make that sweat smell not so great. That smell is called body odour.

Now, why do some people smell worse than others? It can depend on a lot of things. Sometimes it's just genetics - some people naturally sweat more or have more bacteria on their skin. But other times it can be because of things like poor hygiene (not washing enough), eating certain foods (like garlic or onions), or wearing the same clothes over and over without washing them.

But don't worry, there are ways to beat body odour! The easiest way is to wash your body and clothes regularly. You can also use deodorant or antiperspirant - deodorants help mask the smell, while antiperspirants help reduce sweating. And if you're really struggling with body odour, you can always go to the doctor for help.
