Bogomilism

Bogomilism was a Christian religion that began in the 11th century in the country of Bulgaria. It was named after the founder, Bogomil, who believed in two gods: one good and one bad. He taught that the good God, who is also called the True God, created the world and everything in it. The bad, false god was the devil. People who practice Bogomilism believed that people can be free from the devil's power by following God's commands and trying to live a good life. They also believed that Jesus and the angels were part human and part divine, which was different than other Christian religions at the time.
