Book of Songs (Chinese)
A long time ago in a country called China, people wrote lots of poems and songs to express their feelings and ideas. They even collected these poems and songs into a big book called the "Book of Songs" (also known as the Shi Jing).
The Book of Songs has more than 300 poems and songs that were written over a period of hundreds of years. It tells us about what life was like back then and the thoughts and emotions of the people who lived during that time.
