ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Boy Scouts of America

Boy Scouts of America is a group of boys who get together to learn cool things and do fun activities like camping, hiking, and fishing. It is like a big adventure club where boys get to make new friends and learn new life skills. They have different groups called "troops" and each troop is led by a grown-up called a "scoutmaster" who teaches the boys how to be good people and how to help others. They have badges that they earn for learning new skills like first aid, cooking or woodworking. Boy Scouts also follow a promise to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. Boy Scouts is a great way for boys to grow up and become good leaders and responsible citizens.
