Boycott (2001 film)

"Boycott" is a movie about a man named Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who was a very important leader in the Civil Rights Movement. He wanted to help Black people and other people who were not treated fairly to have the same rights as everyone else.

In the movie, there is a woman named Rosa Parks who refused to give up her seat on a bus to a White person. This was a big deal because at that time, there were laws that said Black people could not sit in the front of the bus or in certain seats. This event led to a boycott, which means people decided not to ride the buses anymore.

Dr. King helped lead the boycott and encouraged people to stand up for their rights peacefully. He and many others walked instead of riding the bus. Eventually, the boycott worked and the laws changed to be fair for everyone. The movie shows how important it is to stand up for what you believe in, even if it is hard, and how it can make a big difference.
