Brace (tool)

A brace is a tool that helps you make holes in wood. Imagine you have a wooden board and you want to put a screw or a nail in it, but there isn't a hole for it yet. The brace can help you make that hole by turning it around like you're turning a crank. When you turn the brace, it makes the drill bit in the middle of the brace spin around and dig into the wood, making a hole. It's a bit like using a hand-powered drill. With the brace, you don't need to use electricity or batteries, you just use your own strength to turn the crank and make the hole you need.
