Braess's paradox

Braess’s Paradox is when adding a new route or road, something that people think would improve traffic, instead makes traffic worse. It’s like trying to pour more water into a glass that is already full - instead of helping, it just splashes everywhere and makes a mess. When it comes to roads, the mess is caused by too many cars using the same roads, making it harder to get around.
