A brain–computer interface (BCI) is a way for our brain to control a computer or some type of technology. It's like a computer keyboard, but instead of using your hands to type, you use your brain. To use it, you wear a special cap or headset that reads your brain waves. When you think a certain thought, your brain produces signals that the device can pick up. Then, the computer can do something, like move a cursor on a screen, turn a motor on or off, or activate a robotic arm. Some BCI devices are even able to help paralyzed people talk or move their limbs!
