Neural engineering

Neural engineering is a field of science that studies how to use technology to help the human brain. For example, a neural engineer might develop a device that helps a person who has an injury or a disorder to do things like move their arms or legs again. The device works by using tiny wires connected to the person's brain that can detect signals from the brain and then send electricity to the person's muscles to make them move.
